Annapurna Panorama Trek - 9 Days

The 9 days Annapurna Panorama Trek in the company of beautiful rhododendron forest, passing bymagical waterfalls, encountering ethnic Gurung settlements, and passing through stone-staircase mountain trails reaches to the heart Annapurna Himalayas’best viewpoint - Poon Hill. Of course this trek is also better recognized as Annapurna Sunrise Trek because the splendor of sunrise views over the Himalayas from Poon Hill is incomparable. Apart from extending the taste of local culture, the Poon Hill Trek at its climax rewards you with the views of the splendid high mountains including the two eight-thousanders - Mt. Annapurna (8,091 m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m). Just imagine reaching at the apex of photographers’ paradise in Nepal.

Day 1
1 Hours

Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)
On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our airport representative. After the completion of immigration formalities, you will be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your choice, you can either visit our office site where you can meet your trekking guide or stroll around the streets of Thamel - a tourist hub in Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2
6 Hours

Kathmandu - Pokhara (8,23m): 5 - 6 hrs bus drive
The bus journey lands you in Pokhara at noon passing through the hilly countryside of Nepal. The journey to Pokhara will be accompanied by various sights of greeneries, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain sceneries. Pokhara, the city of lakes, is not only a naturally wonderful place for international visitors; it also bewilders domestic tourists as well.Thus, apart from enjoying magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, and Annapurna rangeyou can stroll around the geographical wonders Pokhara. In the evening you dine at Fewa lakeside - one the most beautiful lakes in Nepal. Overnight in Pokhara. (B)

Day 3
7 Hours

Pokhara - Nayapul - Ulleri (2,050m): 6 - 7 hrs
This section of the trip at first makes a short drive towards Nayapul from where the real adventure trek commences. Secondly, around 6 hours of trek throughout the day brings you at Ulleri. The trail of the day at some sections passes through sub tropical valley forests, and becomes quite steep at times. Eventually, the trail prior to reaching at Ulleri even passes through Modi Khola and Tikhedhunga village. Overnight at Ulleri. (BLD)

Day 4
5 Hours

Ulleri - Ghorepani (2,750m):  4 - 5 hrs
Around 5 hours of journey of this segment of the trip gets you to Ghorepani. Ghorepani, a small village used to be an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's junction, is an interesting place with small shops full of local products and crafts. Overnight at Ghorepani. (BLD)

Day 5
5 Hours

Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Tadapani (2,700m): 5 hrs
This section of the trip starts very early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise view over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges from the top of Poon Hill - a world famous view point in the Annapurna region which is also well known as a photographer`s paradise. The summit of Poon Hill rewards you with spectacular views of Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and the Annapurnas. Next section of the journey moves toward Tadapani passing through rhododendron forest, and spectacular waterfalls along the way. Overnight at Tadapani. (BLD)

Day 6
4 Hours

Tadapani - Ghandruk (1,940m): 3 - 4 hrs
This part of the steep descending trail will also be one of the fantastic journeys so you trek a dense forest of old rhododendron trees. Eventually the rhododendron forest walk enjoying the company of mesmerizing views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiuchuli mountains stops at Ghandruk  - a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung community. The Gurung settlement provides you a chance of cultural interaction with the rich traditions of the Gurung people in Nepal. Ghandruk also welcomes you with the Gurung Museum. Overnight at Ghandruk. Day 7
5 Hours

Ghandruk to Pokhara: 4 – 5 hrs
The first part of the journey from Ghandruk to Nayapul involves trekking which will be the end of the trekking section journey of this trip. The steep downward stone-staircase trail passing through the villages and terraced farms on the way initially takes you to Modi Khola river valley. The downhill marathon again paves the way towards Birethanti and Birethanti connects you with Nayapul. The second part of this section of the trip catches nearly one hour’s drive to get you in Pokhara. (BL)

Day 8
6 Hours

Pokhara - Kathmandu: 5 - 6 hrs drive
Today the scenic bus drive passes through the green countryside of mid hills of Nepal. The bus journey heading to Kathmandu at first departs Pokhara Valley. Then the bus route goes through along the Marsyangdi River in the second place and Mugling onwards you will travel along the bank of Trisuli River. In between the journey offers you the distance mountain views.  After reaching in Kathmandu you will be transferred to your hotel. In the rest of the day you can stroll around the streets of Thamel to catch the last minute souvenir shopping. Overnight in Kathmandu. (B)

Day 9

Departure from Nepal
The 9 days PAnnapurna Panorama Trek comes to an end today. Before 3 hours of scheduled flight, our representatives will take you to airport. On your way to home, we hope, you will have plenty of time to plan your next adventure trip in the Himalayas. Or you can extend your Nepal stay for few more days. (B)

      • 60 days or more before departure      : Loss of deposit
      • 59-21 days before departure               : 50% of cost of services booked
      • Less than 21 days before departure  : 100% of cost of services booked

    Your refund request will be answered and processed as soon as possible. If you do not receive the reply within 24 hours, please call the office immediately. Payment will be done via any means preferred by you.
