OVERVIEW

We will explore Historical and cultural heritage in Kathmandu and Drive to Cool city Pokhara with Beautiful Lake. We will commence our journey into Annapurna region which is relatively easy walk which passes through the villages and rhododendron forests. This is such a stimulating trek that reveals some of the best views of Himalayas from Poon Hill which is regarded as the best viewpoint in the Annapurna Region. Poon Hill is known as the Photographer’s paradise. The trail winds through the patchwork valleys and dense mossy forests along with past icy waterfalls. And around every corner is the provoking glimpse of the high Himalayas. For sure, trekking in the Annapurna foothills to the viewpoint of Poon Hill offers you the unobstructed mountain views.
After exploring Annapurna and Pokhara we will continue our journey to beautiful hill station Shree nagar and drive further to reach the Birth place of Lard Buddha with exploring all surrounding garden and monastery in Lumbini. We will drive to Chitwan National park for wild life experience. We continue our journey to reach into another hill station Daman which is set for magnificent panoramic Himalaya view including Mount Everest.


ITINERARY
Day 1
1 Hours

Day 1 - Arrive Kathmandu
You will be met at the airport on arrival and transferred to your hotel. After check in, you will have a brief meeting with your guide who will run through the program for the next few days and collect your travel documentation and passport/insurance details. Overnight Kathmandu. (D)

Day 2 - Kathmandu city tour
Following breakfast in the hotel, you depart and head to Swayambhunath. This temple is one of the most enchanting, glorious and oldest Buddhist stupa in the western part of Kathmandu Valley. It crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley offering fantastic views. The gold platted Stupa was made in 5th Century and is a World Heritage site and one of the powerful pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. It is where the red-clad monks live and pray to their deities. There are painted eyes on the four sides of the spire bases, the symbol of Buddha's clairvoyant powers. Legend has it that the history of the Valley began with the draining of an ancient lake by an Enlightened Being to reveal the Valley, a lotus flower was transformed into the hill and the shining light became the stupa itself.  

Patan Durbar Squire: Patan is one of the major cities of Nepal. Patan is also known for its rich culture, heritage and particularly its tradition of arts and crafts. This is also known as the city of festivals and feasts. The squire itself is a cluster of pagodas and stone temples, legends and history – all very interesting for visitors.

Pashupatinath is one of the biggest Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world. It is regarded as the most sacred among the Temples of Lord Shiva. Only Hindu believers are allowed to enter the Temple premises. Non-Hindu visitors are allowed to view the temple from the opposite bank of the Bagmati River. This temple has a gold pinnacle which is a symbol of religious thought.

You continue on to Buddhanath Stupa: This is one of the major focal points for Buddhists. The stupa, also a World Heritage Site, looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design. There are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries in the area. This area is also known as little Tibet because there were many Tibetan refugees who came here in the 1950s and settled. Overnight Kathmandu. (B)

Day 3 - Kathmandu to Pokhara
Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Pokhara.  Enjoy an afternoon by the lakeside where you go boating at Fewa Lake for an hour.  Overnight Pokhara.(B)

Day 4 - Drive to Naya Pul, trek to Ulleri
Breakfast, After a one hour drive to Naya Pul you commence your trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River. You head up the main trail to Sudami where you climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hile (1495 metres) before pushing on to Tirkhe Dhunga. The trail crosses a stream and then ascends a steep stone staircase to the large Magar village at Ulleri (1960m). Overnight Ulleri. (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Trek to Ghorepani
This is a pleasant walking day today. You trek through rhododendron and oak forests and across streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti. From Nangethanti you head up to Ghorepani (2850m). Overnight Ghorepani. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Ghorepani to Tadapani via Poon Hill
Start hiking early in the morning. It takes 45 minute to hike up to Poon Hill (3195m). Poon Hill is known as one of the best places to see the panoramic views in the Annapurna region and offers a brilliant spectacle. This vantage point provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the mountains. You will be able to see many mountains together, including three high mountains above 8000 metres (Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri I and Manaslu). Then return to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing trek to Tadapani. From Ghorepani the trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). You descend to reach Banthanti, then wind your way to Tadapani (2640m) through the jungle. (Five hours). Overnight Tadapani. (B,L,D)

Day 7 - Tadapani to Ghandrung
An easy descent through the forest to Ghandrung. Ghandrung is a village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups in Nepal, who have their own dialect, culture, costumes and lifestyle. Ghandrung is one of the famous destinations for trekkers with its beautiful mountain views and is an easy reach from Pokhara or Kathmandu. At noon, visit at museum and spend time in the village. Overnight Ghandrung (B,L,D)

Day 8 - Ghandrung to Pokhara via Nayapul
Today is the final day of hiking in the mountains. Descend from Ghandrung with its easy walk which is all downhill to Shauli bazaar and Nayapul where you began your hiking and drive to Pokhara. Overnight Pokhara. (B,L)

Day 9 - World Peace Stupa
An early morning start today with boating on Fewa Lake. You cross the lake so you can hike up to the World Peace Buddhist Stupa through the forest. It takes one and a half hours to climb to the top. This is an absolutely great place for the view of Pokhara city, panoramic views of Annapurna Himal range and the beautiful sight of Fewa Lake. After visiting the stupa, you walk down to David Falls, Shiva Cave and visit the International Mountaineering Museum. Overnight Pokhara. (B)

Day 10 – Palpa Shree Nagar (Hill Station)
Breakfast, Drive by Private Vehicle through the country side where you can enjoy the awesome surroundings, Hike around the old ancient palpa village and visit into View tower to see the mountains and far horizon view. Over night in Guest House (B)

Day 11 – Lumbini Garden (the birth place of Lord Buddha).
Drive hour and half to reach Lumbini, Visit into the Lumbini Garden and the birth place of Lord Buddha together with many Buddhist monasteries made from various countries in Lumbini Garden. Hotel Lumbini Garden (B)

Day 12 - Chitwan National Park
Today drive by private vehicle to your resort in Chitwan. Refreshment drinks and briefing about the program will be given on arrival. After lunch, visit Tharu village and the National Park's Visitors Centre before viewing the sunset from the riverbank. This evening, enjoy a Tharu dancing program. Overnight in the Hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 13 - Chitwan National Park
Take a dugout canoe trip followed by a nature walk or visit the Elephant Breeding Farm. Drive by jeep or take an ox-cart ride back to the resort. This afternoon, enjoy an elephant-back safari. Overnight in the Hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 14 - Chitwan to Daman
Today you have a bird watching program in the morning. Breakfast follows before you head on to reach amazing Hill station - view point, This is a great plan to see stunning panorama of Himalaya, can see from Mount Dhaulagiri in the West to Kanchenjunga in the East, including the world Highest Mount Everest. Over night in Everest Panorama Lodge. (B)

Day 15 – Kathmandu
Kathmandu by private vehicle through the countryside and along the river valley which takes about five hours. Overnight Kathmandu.  (B)

Day 16 – Departure
Your tour ends after breakfast where you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight from Nepal. (B)
